Harmonic progression
A harmonic progression of a composition is the sequence in which the harmony moves. That is, it is a chord progression. :)
Since each diatonic chord has a harmonic function, it is natural for chords to move from one to the other. In much of Western music the most common progression is: T -> PD -> D -> T. You can use substitutes here.
